The castle is located freely on a hillside in the center of a park with ancient trees in the central area of Pusztaradvány. The building’s ground-plan is rectangle, two-storied on its main front and one-storied on the back. From its right hand side front a small-size complement with trapezoid ground-plan stretches out. The rhythm of the facade is 2+3+2; in the central part a raised risalit juts out robustly from the plane of the wall. The windows of the central part have semicircular arch with pilasters at the angles and a tympan above, the surface of which is decorated by the crest of the Pallavicinis. The division of the ground floor is identical with that of the first floor. The back facade is 2+4+2 axial with a protruding tympanum risalit in the middle. The moderate classicist facade has both cornice and shoulder, plastered casements are on the hatchways and squarings on the corners. Sheet-metal roofing is applied as it is generally used in this area. The curiosity of the hall presently functioning as day-room and billiard-room is the brick-vaulted slab between two railway lines.
The lounge, the restaurant, the kitchen, the billiard-room and the so called “Turkish bath” with its bubble spa, scented steam room and infra sauna can be found on the ground-floor, while seven apartments / rooms and the assembly hall with the latest conference-equipment are located on the first-floor. In the mansard of the building two further rooms and two suites can be brought on.
In the rooms, suites and public halls wall-heating ensures the pleasant temperature. By circulating cold water in this system cooling can be accomplished in the summertime, getting rid of the well-known disadvantages of air-conditioning.
In the park of the ancient trees a pond, a play-ground for children and also resting-places provide the visitors with recreation, moreover, an outdoor pool heated by sun-energy can be found next to the castle.
On the territory belonging to the hotel a quad trail and paint-ball facilities are provided.
Apart from the castle park, a territory of considerable size, containing farm –buildings, is ready for further improvements.
•On the basis of the extant and authorized construction plans the building can be run as a 4 star hotel with 44 beds
•Apartments to let or for sale each on their own on the territory of the estate (it means further 50 beds approximately)
•Horse-riding club by the utilization of the farm buildings of the estate
•Hunt-centre due to the neighboring hunting-grounds
The PALLAVICINI Castle Hotel was opened more than two years ago and since then as a member of the Hotel Association of Hungary and as a charter member of the Castle Hotel Association it became well-known among professionals and guests as well by its unique atmosphere and services (just like our popular programme called “Be the Mangrave!” according to which the guest or a group of guests can hire the castle with its whole personnel; and our service which provides with red wine pours from the fountain in front of the Turkish Bath on holidays or upon request, etc.). Capitalizing its popularity the castle could be turned into a 4 star or a 4 star superior hotel by minor investment in increasing the number of the rooms and introducing some additional services.
In the mansard of the building two further rooms and two suites can be brought on. Building permit and detailed construction plans are available and the technical preparations of the construction are already done. The former outbuilding can be altered as a manor-house including 3 apartments which is justified by the authorized construction plans. Landscape architectural plans are already available for the rehabilitation and the establishment of sports facilities (tennis-court, artificial grassed mini football-ground, petanque and golf putting green) in the surrounding yard.
A complete tender dossier is assembled in order to win the tender of EU and state subsidy (50%) for the above mentioned developmental possibilities
Machines, tools or toys needed for the operation can be stored in the farm buildings of the estate.
Further developments are ensured by the great territory of the estate. Separate apartments can be built in order to increase the number of the rooms in the hotel or a whole subdivision can be built around the castle with flats and apartments to be sold. The apartment owners this way would be entitled to resort to the hotel’s services and the flats unused by the owners could be run and let by the hotel.
Additional services can be introduced as well by the use of the 620 m² stable, just like a playhouse or bowling alleys or a well-organized horse-riding center can be run.
It is highly preferential for the hunter tourism that either big game or small game hunter grounds can be found in the area, moreover, there is a hunting ground near the castle which can be approached on foot in a few minutes.
